it is possible to add a controller for the elbow bone to be moved using keyframes #1057

If a dedicated controller for the elbow is added to the Forearm bone to move it independently, like in edit mode, but with keyframes, that would be great.

that's actually quite complicated, but doable...
I've been wanting to add something like that for a long time but did not have time to. I'm keeping it in the roadmap to 17.2

Note: to do that for now I use puppet pins, it's not ideal but in some cases (especially when limbs are separated in several layers) it works well

I used bone envelopes to draw the hand, this method saved me time and the performance was better.
However, when using the Puppet tool, problems appear in the drawing.

Yes, puppet tool and shape layers are always a problem....
