Left Hand not working properly

When starting the expedition the left hand ist scrunched up and not where it should be (where the controller in my hand is). I can move it and when I take a marshmellow it looks normal, but otherwise it floats way too far away, turned in a weird angle and is scrunched up. In the menu it looks perfectly fine and is at the right place, tracking works as well in the menu. Just when starting the expedition it's weird.
I just installed the game and the mod manager and the mod for the first time, so everything is the current version. I play with the quest 3.
