Doesn't start on hyprland

Describe the bug
Starting anything but the flatpak version on hyprland throws the following error:

Additional context
exporting the env WINIT_UNIX_BACKEND=x11 makes it launchable

I don't really have access to a system with hyprland right now, do you know if there is anything I can do besides asking users to exporting the env ?
