Alphabetic Ordered Lists?

I'm having trouble figuring out if this is even available, but I'm looking for a way to have an uppercase letter ordered list:

A. First list item
B. Second list item
C. Third list item

It could be with a css, something like this <span class="firstWordUpper">first</span>list item.

@meetmagdalene , not sure if you found the answer to your question yet, but if you look at \samples\Sample_14_ListItem.php, you'll see an example of how to do this. The very first list they output uses a custom format which was defined with 'format' => 'upperLetter'.
