First thanks for the great lib. I have used it for some very basic functionality like loading templates and replacing variables, etc.. I am embarking on a new project where I realize it will require creating a pretty dynamic document. Has anyone done a combo phpword with php com to run macros? If so, have you had any issues? The most important area to me is the template options which seem pretty limited for now. Any thoughts appreciated until I make a decision on route. Thanks.

Well I have found TBS to be actually better at its ability to merge docx. Not happy with the post processing but it does the job. Just letting others in urgent need to know. After a ton of testing it comes down to the xml headers that seem to be parsed in automatically by word. The xml markup is not 'recognizable' but fixable. It is a simple piece that looks deprecated from word 2007-2010, if you generate the document in 2010. I think best bet is to use php com to run macros. Just my two cents.
