Bar Chart Axis Configurability - Scaling or Hiding

I am trying to use a bar chart to visualize integer data. However the Y Axis scale will display 0.5 steps (e.g. 0 -> 0.5 -> 1 -> 1.5 -> 2 ->...) which does not represent the data I have correctly.

Ideally the Axis should be completely configurable: setting start and end value as well as step size. But every step into that direction would be very welcome as well.

Alternatively I tried to hide the Y Axis Labels which is only possible when hiding the X Axis Labels as well.
So an alternative solution would be to enable hiding Y and X Axis Labels separately.
