Of more interest, people are continuing to create 'work items' there: http:https://phpword.codeplex.com/workitem/list/basic

Is it possible to update the CodePlex PHPWord project page to redirect users to GitHub?

It appears @MarkBaker at https://github.com/PHPOffice/PHPExcel addressed this issue effectively: http:https://phpexcel.codeplex.com/ and http:https://www.phpexcel.net/

Unfortunately, the project is managed by raw_aventure_ad. And no news from him since a very long time. So no idea for updating the home page of Codeplex.

Thanks for the explanation. I was wondering about this myself. I'll try to redirect issues and discussion from CodePlex to GitHub then.

Maybe somebody should open a new discussion at http:https://phpword.codeplex.com/discussions and say hello to those people, who still use the old version of PhpWord? Just a little portion of PR. ;)

I've joined some discussion thread. Some of the suggestion there has already fulfilled by 0.8 and I put some other as an issue entry. I'll keep monitoring CodePlex from now.
