[1.20.4] Default Skin While on Server

When I log into my locally-hosted server with a pristine (unmodded) 1.20.4 client, I show up as one of the default skins instead of my skin! It shows up fine in singleplayer, but not on the server.

MCHPRS is intended to be behind a proxy such as bungeecord which would provide skins (and auth).
