I'd love to be able to have the algorithm be controlled from my Apple Watch without needing to be near my phone #2177

Describe the solution you'd like
Now that Dexcom G7 can be connected directly to the watch, are there any technical limitations to being able to loop without your iPhone within bluetooth distance? I understand that the iPhone would still be needed to adjust settings or pair a new pump/cgm. However, it would be awesome to be able to leave the phone at home or in the car and still be able to loop/bolus directly from the Apple Watch.

Describe alternatives you've considered
It's already great that I can bolus from my watch without getting my phone out of my pocket, but I wish the watch could do a little more.

Additional context
I dream of a world where I don't need my phone everywhere I go. Would love to escape from the online world sometimes and not have the temptation of my phone distracting me.
