Distance

All distance measurements are given in meters in LSMetrics. So the user must be aware to import rasters using a metric coordinate reference system (CRS). If your raster is, for example set in WGS84 geographic system, you can reproject it for a metric CRS. GRASS allows the user to import rasters with reprojection using the function r.import or clicking as follows in GRASS Layer Manager:
