A hornéd hat of shame to @StefanKarpinski for merging the Pkg2 -> Pkg changes without updating the package documentation in the manual

e.g. the documentation still mentions apparently missing functions such as Pkg.new, Pkg.patch, and Pkg.pkg_origin.

Or were you planning to add those functions back to Pkg shortly?

I assume you are planning to migrate those functions (or similar functionality) from Pkg1 to Pkg soon?

Yes, that's the plan, but I was getting a lot of pressure to make Pkg2 the default already, so here we are. Hopefully having it as the default will help push it along faster.
