CarHop is a versatile and user-friendly application designed to facilitate car rentals. Whether you're a car owner looking to monetize your vehicle or a renter in search of the perfect ride, CarHop has got you covered.

• Seamless Car Rentals: Car owners can easily list their vehicles for rent, complete with detailed descriptions and photos. Renters can browse through available cars and book the one that suits their needs.

• Flexible Rental Options: With various car types, from electric and hybrid to gasoline, you have options to match your preferences and budget.

• Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Calculator: CarHop provides you with insights into the long-term costs of owning a car, helping you make informed decisions.

• User Authentication: Securely create and manage your user profile. Car owners and renters can trust that their information is protected.

• Admin Controls: Administrators have the power to manage user accounts and ensure the smooth operation of the platform.

1. Navigate to the desired directory and clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/JeroenP98/carhop.git

2. Start up your PostgreSQL database and run command

CREATE DATABASE carhop;

3. navigate to the CarHop.sql file and run the database scheme in the query editor
4. Navigate to the Databases.kt file and change passwords if necessary
5. Build the application using gradle.
6. Your application should be good to go!
