How to build a .deb

Requirments
 - devscripts
 - build-essential
 - lintian

* Create a source distribution:

  $ make dist

* Move source distribution up to the parent directory

  $ mv unicon-VVV.tar.gz ../

* In the parent directory, copy the source dist into a new name in the
* form of unicon_VVV.orig.tar.gz where VVV is the version (ex: 13.1.0)

  $ cp unicon-VVV.tar.gz  unicon_VVV.orig.tar.gz
  
* Unpack  unicon-VVV.tar.gz  (NOT the .orig)

  $ tar -xf unicon-VVV.tar.gz

* change to the new unpacked directory and modify the changelog in the debian directory.
* dch will open your favorite editor and fill in some of the needed fields for you

  $ dch

* Build the .deb

$ debuild -us -uc

* The resulting .deb will be in the parent directory
