Hi @TommiNieminen,

I hope you're doing fine and thank you for your great job!

One of my colleagues is getting the following error message ever since she installed Fiskmö plug-in on Trados 2019:

`[....] Service 'Sdl.Desktop.Platform.CommandBars.IActionService' could not be started.

Sdl.Desktop.Platform.Services.ServiceStartException, Sdl.Desktop.Platform, Version=15.2.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=c28cdb26c445c888

Sdl.Desktop.Platform
-2146233088

[....]`

Also, we're both getting a message stating the plug-in is unsigned when starting Studio. ("SDL Trados Studio has detected an unsigned plug-in that wants to load. [...]")

Do you know where the above issue may come from, and when the new Trados 2019 Fiskmö plugin will be officially available in SDL/RWS appstore?

Thanks in advance for your time and your kind help on this.

Hi,

The signed plugin is available from the former SDL store here. It might already be installed on the user's computer, since one cause for that error message is that both the signed OPUS-CAT plugin and the older, unsigned Fiskmö plugin are installed in the same Trados version (they conflict). The easiest way to check the installed plugins is by using the SDL Plugin Management software included in Trados. You can find it in folder C:\Program Files (x86)\SDL\SDL plugin installer, with the name Sdl.Community.SdlPluginInstaller.exe (Trados used to install it as a Start menu shortcut, but the shortcut was inexplicably removed in one of the recent updates).

Uninstalling Fiskmö plug-in and using OPUS-CAT engine solved the issue.

Thank you @TommiNieminen for your quick help. :)
