I try this commands (with the region of Argentina). I only want an increment in X, so I set 0 for yinc. Only the first works.

gmt grdimage -Baf @earth_relief_30m -png test04 -RAR+R1/0
gmt grdimage -Baf @earth_relief_30m -png test05 -RAR+r1/0
gmt grdimage -Baf @earth_relief_30m -png test06 -RAR+e1/0

I got this message:

grdimage [INFORMATION]: Region implied by DCW polygons is 286/307/-nan/-nan

I think that is the value is 0, then the original value should be used.
