Description of the desired feature

Allow the lines in quoted, decorated, and front to be invisible. This makes lines without a distinct centerline possible. This is currently impossible as -W0p is (on most systems) rendered as very thin line. See #2995 for context.

Sometimes it is desirable to just plot the things along the lines but not the lines themselves. The new modifeir +i for invisible does that. Closes #3017.
