I mean, think about it, wouldn't sharing libraries help? I don't know really how to explain it well.

My best example is like, hxCodec, the video library made by polyproxy, that allows you to play videos and shit

Think I'd be a really useful resource as well :D

As much as it'd be nice i think it'd make the resource significantly bigger and a lot of the time other libs tend to be more integrated onto engines rather than something you can easily put and mess with on a mod

this is an INTERESTING idea I think, for start, might be at LEAST good to toss a link to haxelib stuff in general!

There definitely are nice haxelibs that can help get a mod off the ground with features. Might be more suitable for someone else to make a dedicated GUIDE on "essential haxelibs!" though. We will see heheh

I'll reiterate this again, just for the sake of more context and understanding:

What if a section of the resources README was dedicated to haxelibs as a way for modders and maybe even you guys, the Funkin' Crew, to know what to put within your engine, if something has a better alternative, etc etc.

For example:

"hxCodec is the lib for playing videos.

or:

"hmm (Haxe Module Manager) has a better alternative and it's called this and that"

We don't have to mention a shit ton of haxelibs, maybe essential ones like Cam said or some that make a very grueling task pretty straightforward.

Let me know whatcha think :D

maybe worth like... an essential list of haxelibs (other than ones that come with flixel).

Maybe like that flixel screenshoot tool!

Closing this due to a lack of activity.

LOL, forgot I had this open since January!
