I installed the plugin for MuseScore, and get the menu. After this, I ran the command from MuseScore "Start current score info," however, I don't know where to clone this repo to make it work. Is it in the root directory or any directory?

It does not matter where you clone the repo. The instructions will handle any directory-specific actions.
