User ran into this- I haven't duplicated and largely dropping in so we keep an eye on it.

I had attempted to run an update from from EE v6.2.7 to v6.4.15 and it ran into a db error, detailed in thread below, so we reverted using the prompts on the updater. I’ve only noticed that now when we try to access any channels on this staging site that we’re not able to access these and are seeing the following error

Error: Unable to load requested field type file: ft.slider.php. Confirm the fieldtype file is located in the /system/user/addons/ directory

That fieldtype was added in the 6.3.0 and it looks like in the rollback, all of the fieldtypes added then got left in the database, but the files did not. He manually deleted each from exp_fieldtypes and was fine. I'm not sure if this was a weird quirk or a flaw in the rollback routine. But I suspect there may be something odd going on.

Error: Unable to load requested field type file: ft.range_slider.php. Confirm the fieldtype file is located in the /system/user/addons/ directory

Error: Unable to load requested field type file: ft.selectable_buttons.php. Confirm the fieldtype file is located in the /system/user/addons/ directory

Error: Unable to load requested field type file: ft.number.php. Confirm the fieldtype file is located in the /system/user/addons/ directory

Error: Unable to load requested field type file: ft.notes.php. Confirm the fieldtype file is located in the /system/user/addons/ directory

I think record in the exp_fieldtypes are not affected by the rollback procedure and not sure if they should?

I agree, let's just keep this open for now
