Description of the problem

Running a Channel Seet export from an EE site on 7.2.6 and then trying to import into the same project but using a different database imports everything fine except that the categories lose their parent/child relationship. Which is a big deal on this particular project because there are hundreds of categories.

How to reproduce

  1. Export channel set from a connected to one database (same as the production version of the site)
  2. Change the config file to connect to a completely fresh database
  3. Import the channel set
  4. Everything seems fine except parent/child relations lost from categories

Environment details

  • EE version: 7.2.6
  • PHP version: 8.0.22
  • MySQL version: 8.0.16
  • OS: macOS
  • Web server: Nginx
