"Pages" tab cannot be hidden from a publish layout

I can't hide the "Pages" tab from a publish layout - it just won't respond to clicking on the eye icon.

I wasn't able to replicate this in EE 7.2.0

@shbchk I've tried this many different ways and several browsers and still cannot replicate it. Can you let us know what add-ons you have installed. Also, have you tried disabling extensions ( $config['allow_extensions'] = 'n'; ) and seeing if this still happens. Thanks!

Hmm. Turned off extensions via config.php, tried to hide Pages tab again - no luck. After that I changed the order of tabs and saved:

Now I can hide Pages tab, but seeing those warnings.

I guess, I can fix this by creating new layouts for every channel. But what was it and how to avoid this in a future?
