Describe the bug

RuntimeError: Input tensor data type is not supported for NCCL process group: BFloat16

To Reproduce

python ./deepy.py ./train.py ./configs/bf16_125M.yml ./configs/local_setup.yml

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • GPUs: 8*A100
  • Configs: configs/bf16_125M.yml
  • torch:1.8.1+cu111

Additional context
