Personally I almost always only need an interpretation for 32 bit floating-point numbers in little endian and color interpretation (those would first need #213 and #214 however). All other fields I wouldn't need.

This might be o.k.
I remember that I design an interface to do that but... deleted by accident. Never make it again since I found that not useful.
Lets leave this open to see how many people like such a configurable data interpreter dialog...
