In the screenshot of Hue bridge sliders for various variable inputs are shown.
In the wiki there seems to be only the possibility to toggle a command for the SimpleHome API.

I think it would be great if a slider input could be used in this case too. For instance by adding a range attribute in the list of commands.

Sounds interesting. I already thought about implementing more advanced controls like sliders, toggles, etc.
I updated the wiki a little bit.

That planned features look good. However, I'm wondering how you look at the submenu mode. Is it the intention that all sub commands are added to the data field or that a relation with a main command is given there?

The plan is to have a URL like for execution but when the mode is submenu it will send a request to that url which will return the submenu. The submenu should be structured like the commands menu.
