AQGridViewCell contentView property is not labeled as IBOutlet #20
Comments
Hello, Thanks very much for you great code! Very helpful! I also have a problem for defining custom cells with a nib file. For this purpose, I have created a subclass of AQGridViewCell. In Interface Builder, I have added a UIView with type corresponding to my subclass, connected all the outlets and set the file's owner type as NSObject. Then, in my view controller, my custom cell is initialized like that: cell = [[[NSBundle mainBundle] loadNibNamed:@"NavigationGroupViewCell" owner:self options:nil] lastObject]; However, the cells are all appearing in white... My custom content is not drawn.... Furthermore, I have noticed with the debugger that in my custom cell instance, all the objects I have defined in the subclass are initialized but any belonging to the AQGridViewCell superclass. I tried other combinations, but I get always the same result... What am I missing? Thanks in advance for you help. |
#49 does exactly that. |
the
AQGridViewCell
contentView
is not labeled as IBOutlet. This makes it very difficult to have a custom cell defined in a nib file without juggling views inawakeFromNib
.It seems to me AQGridView was not designed to accept custom cells defined in a nib file, though not much is needed to make it work.
Perhaps adding a 4th sample that does just that could help, something similar to the AdvancedTableViewCells sample code from Apple.
