Main Cast
- Shaina Magdayao as Vira Mae Ocampo / Marie Perea - daughter of Milagros and twin sister of Ella. Born as Marie Perea, Vira was given up by Milagros as an infant and therefore she grew up under the care of her rich adoptive parents in the city. Besides the rodent hairs on her back, which her foster father sees as luck for his business, Vira looks completely normal on the outside unlike her twin sister Ella. Later in her adolescent years, Vira crosses paths with her long lost twin Ella but this encounter leads to a bitter clash. Vira evolves from a self-absorbed and shallow teenager into a selfless young woman, willing to do anything in order to be with her mother Milagros and her sister Ella.
- Melissa Ricks as Ella Perea / Venus De la Riva - twin sister of Vira and daughter of Milagros. Ella's physical features are similar to that of a rat's. But after her bitter encounter with Vira and the evil Celeste, Ella becomes separated from her mother and soon lands under the care of a wealthy businesswoman who transforms the kind Ella into the beautiful and vengeful Venus De la Riva.

Gab unknowingly encounters Ella and falls in love with her while they are in high school. But after finding out her true identity, Gab throws his emotions away, breaking Ella's heart in the process.
