AFD Helper
editThanks for the feedback. Yes I've been thinking about putting the signature in for a while and, although it's easy, hadn't got around to it. So now it's done, but you'll need to refresh this page first to get the effect. jnothman talk 00:07, 14 November 2005 (UTC)
Looking for an honest opinion
editI'm working on the article motorized bicycle. I created a timeline. It is nominated for deletions. I was wondering if you could give me your opinion of the subject either at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Timeline of Motorized bicycle history or on my user talk page. Thank you. (p.s.: love the some of your categories, I stole you idea and put some on my user page.) --CyclePat 01:43, 22 November 2005 (UTC)

Featured article for December 25th
editI noticed you have listed yourself in Category:Atheist Wikipedians. That said, you will probably be interested in my suggested featured article for December 25th: Omnipotence paradox. The other suggestion being supported by others for that date is Christmas, although Raul654 has historically been against featuring articles on the same day as their anniversary/holiday. — BRIAN0918 • 2005-11-28 08:18

Deletion of 'liberal wikipedians' category
editHi. I saw you're (like me) listed in this category which is up for deletion. Hoped you'd like to vote in favor of keeping it... Thanks! Larix 23:40, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks for spreading the word on this one - I'll defend against any attempt to cut down on the number of pastel coloured boxes on my user page. Ironically, this is the first time I've been asked to vote based on my political categorisation... --Hitchhiker89 09:58, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
- My pleasure, thanks for the voting! If you love those coloured boxes, perhaps you'd like to add the {{user humanist}} userbox I just made? If it corresponds to your beliefs, of course. :) Larix 10:59, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
- And thanks again for the flower :) Larix 15:15, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
User categories
editHi again! I wanted to inform you there is a vote going on about wether it should be allowed to list yourself in a POV category. It's basically the same question as when they wanted to delete 'wikipedians by politics' but now they want to make it policy. This is the link: Wikipedia:Proposed_policy_on_userboxes#Comments_and_Voting Please vote! Larix 20:41, 2 January 2006 (UTC)

Hello, Hitchhiker89. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Nuvola Firefox icon.png) was found at the following location: User:Hitchhiker89. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 07:24, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
Hello Hitchhiker89, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:Oak107fm.png) was found at the following location: User:Hitchhiker89/sandbox. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not readd the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 03:02, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
Notification of automated file description generation
editYour upload of File:Caramac.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.
This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! Non-free rationale for File:Caramac.jpg
editThanks for uploading or contributing to File:Caramac.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 19:06, 7 September 2015 (UTC)
