Britani Bateman (née Martin)[2] is an American actress, singer, and television personality.[3][4] She is best known as a cast member of the Bravo reality television series The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.[5][6]

Personal life
editBateman was born in Provo, Utah[7] and raised in Folsom, California.[8] Bateman graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.[9] She has two daughters.[3] In October 2023, Bateman filed a $2.5 million dollar lawsuit against ex-husband John Scott Underwood for emotional and financial abuse.[10] Throughout 2024, she has been in a public on-again, off-again relationship with Jared Osmond, nephew of Donny and Marie Osmond.[11] Former RHOSLC cast member Monica Garcia raised concerns that Bateman was faking the relationship for the show.[12][13]
Career
editBateman's acting career began at BYU, where she toured with the Young Ambassadors, starring in roles such as Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes. Upon graduating, Bateman became a stage performer at Walt Disney World, performing as Disney Princesses Ariel and Belle. This was followed by a nine-month stint at Tokyo Disneyland.[14] Bateman's film career started with her appearance in The R.M. in 2003.[15] She later starred alongside Tori Spelling in the ABC Family Original Movie, The Mistle-Tones in 2012.[16] In August 2024, Bateman was announced to join The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City as a "friend" of the main cast.[17][18]
