36 24 36 is a 2024 Bangladeshi romantic comedy film written by Rezaur Rahman, Kaarina Kaiser and Muntasir Mannan and directed by Rezaur Rahman. It is directorial debut film of the director which released on big screens.[1] It is 5th film of Chorki's the Ministry of Love film projects.[2] It is features Sayed Zaman Shawon, Prarthana Fardin Dighi and Karina Kaiser in lead roles while Kaarina Kaiser's father former national football team player Kaiser Hamid play a cameo appearance.[3]

Release
editThis movie has been submitted to the Board of Film Certification on 15 October 2024. This film is made as a web film and this film is also released on the big screen.[5] This is basically the 5th film of the Ministry of Love film projects. This web film was supposed to release on OTT in July 2024. But due to the political situation it was not possible to release the web film.[6] The film has been received an uncut Universal (U) censor approval from the Censor Certification Board on 30 October 2024 for release in big screen.[7] Then It was released in 23 theaters on 8 November 2024 clashing with Ahsan Sarwar's Rong Dhong (2024).[8] It is also released on OTT platform Chorki on 28 November 20224.[9]
Allegation
editFaisal Mahmood the editor of the film wrote that on social media, "I was supposed to be so excited that the first edit of the film 36 24 36 is going to release in cinemas, but I can't. Been working on this film more or less for the last year or so. I am probably the second person who has put the most time behind this film. But even though the film release date is over, I still haven't received the date to receive my money".[10]
Reception
editAhsan Kabir from Bangla Tribune give rating the film 5/10 and wrote that "Karina Kaiser can be applauded as the first film. he tried Compared to that, Dighi was a bit insignificant in the film, he also tried his best. Syed Zaman Shaon was fluent in his role. Two Tanveer (Abu Huraira and Ghulam Kibria) also did well. Compared to that, the senior artists in the film were unimportant. They meet only at weddings. The effect of telefilm seems to be more than cinematic arrangement or filmy treatment inside the film".[11] Daily Janakantha wrote that "Karina Kaiser gave the best performance in the movie. Basically the story revolves around him. The audience will be able to connect with his emotions. Dighi's looks and acting were also good as per the character. Abu Hurairah, Syed Zaman Shawon also did well. A few comic scenes were also enjoyable".[12] Sarabangla wrote that "'36-24-36' is showing in theaters for 3 weeks. The movie was well received by the audience in their reaction. A viewer named Samiha watched the movie on November 20 and said, 'A sweet movie! Simple, beautiful stories with fun yet important messages.' A viewer said about the last dialogue of the movie, 'The words of the last part of the whole movie connected me a lot.' Another viewer's response is, 'Happiness, pain, emotional parts are there in the movie. Everyone can watch the movie, but those who suffer from insecurity about themselves must watch the movie'".[13]
