As a junior he reached a highest ranking of No. 68 and participated in the [[2013 Wimbledon Championships – Boys' singles|boys' singles at the 2013 Wimbledon Championships]], where he lost in the second round to [[Alexander Zverev]]. His favourite player growing up was [[Jo-Wilfried Tsonga]].<ref name=cashprofile />

Cash won ten titles in 2022, breaking the record for most [[ATP Challenger Tour|ATP Challenger]] doubles titles in a single season with [[Henry Patten]].<ref name=record />
