Summary
[edit]DescriptionLho La above Khumbu glacier.jpg |
The Khumbu icefall and Mt Everest's peak is visible sticking out back right. The mountain is so hard to get a good look at from the Nepal side. The route to Everest starts up the long hazardous and circuitous Khumbu icefall to Camp 1. At this time of the year, climbers were doing acclimatization runs between BC, Camp 1 and Camp 2. |
