Preserved Specimen On A3 Paper With A Printed Label Identifying It In The Bottom Right Corner. The Paper Is Mounted On A Larger Cardboard And Covered With Plastic Which Is Sealed To The Board. There Are Two Samples On The Page And Both Have Been Cut From Their Original Plant. They Both Consist Of A Main Stem And Have Pairs Of Tri-Pointed And Toothed Leaves Extending At Regular Intervals. The Intervals Are Shorter At The Top Of The Samples. The First Sample Has A Pair Of Off Shoots And Groups Of Small Flowers And Seed Structures On Both The Off Shoots And Main Stem. They Extend From The Same Places As The Leaves. The Groups And Structures Get Progressively Smaller Closer To The Apex. The Second Sample Is Shorter And Has No Off Shoots. The Seed Structures Are More Developed And Are All Roughly The Same Size. They Line The Entire Length Of The Stem While There Are Some Sections Of Stem On The First Sample Which Are Bare. There Are Two Colored Drawings, Most Likely Done By Elsie May Kittredge, Which Appear To Detail Two Different Views Of The Flower.
