Deutsch: „Von Rot und Silber (Weiß) gespalten. Vorn über einer silbernen (weißen) Rose in Rot eine silberne (weiße) Kirche mit stumpfem Helm, hinten in Silber (Weiß) eine rote Kirche mit spitzem Helm, darunter eine rote Rose." Das Wappen ist "redend"; die Kirchtürme stehen für die ehemaligen Gemeinden Aldekerk und Nieukerk und die Mispelblüten erinnern an die ehemaligen geldrischen Gemeinden Eyll und Stenden.
English: „Party per fess, counterchanging and countercolouring gules and Argent, above a medlar flower ahead a church with butt spire and rear a steeple." The two churches are canting elements (Kirch = kerk = church), for Aldekerk and Nieukerk. The two roses are the old symbol of Geldern and represent Eyll and Stenden, which were possessions of the dukes of Geldern.
