Stina Werenfels

Stina Werenfels was born in Basel and spent her early childhood in the United States, Spain and Greece. In Zurich she graduated in 1983 from high school. She studied pharmacy at the ETH Zurich, where in 1987, the assistant diploma acquired. From 1988 to 1990 she studied philosophy and film studies at the University of Zurich, worked as a freelance journalist and turned her first short films . At the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, she completed 1991-94 her studies in film.
