Rachel Geesa
Rachel Louise Geesa, EdD, is an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at Ball State University. In addition to researching topics related to educational leadership, she teaches courses focused on educational decision making to graduate students who aspire to be leaders within a school, district, or organization. Dr. Geesa is an experienced art and gifted resources educator and school administrator in PreK-12 schools to include Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) schools in South Korea, Japan, and Virginia. She has additional skills working with students, teachers, and administrators to create and execute integrative STEM-based learning experiences. As a school administrator, she recognized a gap in research, resources, and preparation for educational leaders to guide and support integrative STEM education for students, teachers, and community stakeholders, and she strives to address this issue.
