I’m a Candidate for State Representative to FIGHT the most HATED city agency in the Tri-State area: the Philadelphia Parking Authority (aka PPA). I'm a GLADIATOR who was born & raised in Southwest Philadelphia! ALL of my elementary, middle and high schools are PUBLIC and ALL are in Southwest and West Philadelphia.

Nearly 80% of the PPA's tickets are issued in areas of the most VULNERABLE. The PPA ignores the Philadelphia Code and violates PA State Law in the pursuit of REVENUE on the backs of the most vulnerable which is most of us! Friends of Tony Dphax King is registered with the PA Department of State as "INDEFINITE" because I will continue my campaign until I'm able to give The People some RELIEF from this ABUSIVE city agency. The People have expressed a DESIRE for this relief.

  • Eventually, The People of the 188th will give their Native Son an opportunity to help them!
  • I've never heard a candidate announce the number of years he/she wants to represent The People so I assume that I am the first to say that I would like 3-4 years to help The People.
  • Unlike the incumbent representative, I'm not a "Carpetbagger" who turned his back on his own community.

The PPA's ability to ignore local and state law in the pursuit of revenue with impunity.

I look up to ALL of the "Unsung Heroes" of society. The people who do wonderful works for humanity in complete silence and anonymity.

A desire to help the community where they were born and raised and to keep GOVERNMENT from entering the homes of private citizens as much as possible.

I am a Gladiator who has the STAMINA & passion for my district to "See It Through." My mother always said to me, "You have the patience of Jobe" (from the Bible).

A desire to help the community where they were born and raised and to keep GOVERNMENT from entering the homes of private citizens as much as possible and the stamina to "See it Through."

The People gave him an opportunity to help. He helped. Then he moved on with life!

The "MOVE" Bombing in 7th grade. The science teacher turned on the TV and allowed the class to view it. Unbeknownst to everyone, I was indirectly associated with the major elected officials during this tragedy. The kids were watching the TV and I was watching the kids. LOL.

My very first job was one of the turning points of my life: Pot Washer. It's where I learned that people stay (or leave) at a job NOT because of the WORK but because of the PEOPLE. This was a job that I enjoyed immensely during high school. It allowed me to fund certain projects of the fraternity and allowed me to treat my high school "sweetheart" to pizza after school.

My book, "Survival Guide for Single Men: Problems & Solutions."

I'm not sure. I need more time to think about this.

My music is so diverse. But normally its an 80s track such as "It's A Miracle" (Culture Club) or a track from Ashford & Simpson.

Finding SUPPORT (not just political) and finding those who do not QUIT. Finding those who do NOT give up!

Keep GOVERNMENT from entering the homes of private citizens as much as possible.

I need to study this question. But the Pa Landlord Tenant Law could use some help.

It's not really a joke but a riddle that I learned from my Maternal Grandfather: "What do we do more than ANYTHING else?" This is a riddle that can be considered a joke but it is FACTUAL. Most people get this wrong and most people NEVER get this right.

I'd introduce resolutions regarding The Peoples' concerns

The only individuals that I need to "endorse" my campaign are the VOTERS who live in the 188th District.
