Timothy Doyle
Timothy M. Doyle was a circuit court judge serving Barron County, Wisconsin. He retired on July 1, 2013 and was succeeded by Michael Bitney.[1]
John Doe investigations
Two John Doe investigations, beginning in 2010 and ending in 2015, were launched by Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm (D) into the activities of staff and associates of Gov. Scott Walker (R).[2] A lawsuit was filed against prosecutor and ADA Bruce Landgraf by Christopher Brekken, owner of a Harley-Davidson dealership who was imprisoned after he was unable to produce a customer's credit card information as part of the investigations. The suit was dismissed by Judge Doyle, though Doyle stated his belief that the investigation was politically motivated.[3][4]
