An effort to recall Mayor Rob Jaeger in Crandon, Wisconsin from his position was launched in May 2014.[1] Jaegar was defeated in a July 29 recall election by Dennis Rosa.[2]
Recall proponent arguments
Recall supporter Larry Alsteen said, "He would run [the city] himself. That's the way he wants it to be. He wants to be the number one guy. He wants to get rid of his committees and just run it himself."[1]

Recall proponents needed to collect 152 valid signatures in order to trigger a recall election. On June 10, 2014, recall proponents submitted 210 signatures. A recall election was scheduled for July 29.[1][3] Dennis Rosa defeated Jaeger in the recall election to become the new mayor.[2]
