Frank Paul Geraci Jr. is a federal judge on senior status with the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. A native of Rochester, New York, Geraci received his bachelor's degree from the University of Dayton in 1973 and his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1977.[1]

Geraci was nominated by President Barack Obama on May 14, 2012, to a seat on the United States District Court for the Western District of New York vacated by David Larimer. The American Bar Association rated Geraci Substantial Majority Well Qualified, Minority Qualified for the nomination. Hearings on Geraci's nomination were held before the Senate Judiciary Committee on June 27, 2012, and his nomination was reported by U.S. Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) on July 19, 2012. Geraci was confirmed on a voice vote of the U.S. Senate on December 13, 2012, and he received his commission on January 2, 2013. He has serve as the district court's chief judge from 2015 to 2021.
