An effort to recall Mayor Eric Hillman in Mapleton, North Dakota from his position was launched in 2014. The recall was scheduled for November 20, 2014. Hillman faced former council member Carlita Dietz in the election.[1] Hillman was retained by voters.[2] Hillman was retained.
