A vote about whether to recall all seven members of the Dorr Township Board took place on May 4, 2010.[1]
All 7 township board members survived the May 4 vote.[2]
Recall supporters turned in petitions to force the recall vote on January 25. The name of the recall group is "Restoring Ethics and Democracy."
The recall petition language was the same for each of the recall targets. It said:
- Violated the Open Meetings Act on Thursday April 16, 2009, June 4th & 18th 2009, July 2nd 2009 & August 6th & 20th, 2009 and September 3rd 2009, by assembling privately as a quorum with other Township Board members, immediately prior to regular Dorr Township Board Meetings.
The election was administered by Allegan County election officials.
