Ann Duplessis
Ann Duplessis was a Democratic member of the Louisiana State Senate, representing District 2. Duplessis resigned her state Senate seat to become an aide to Mayor Mitch Landrieu.[1]

In 2007 Duplessis was re-elected to the Louisiana State Senate District 2. Duplessis (D) finished with 4,398 votes while her opponent Jon Johnson (also a Democrat) finished with 4,050 votes.[2] Duplessis raised $365,576 for her campaign fund.[3]
