If this is more than 100 years later than 1951, how can they have blackboards, an analogue microwave, and a mid-tower pc with two mere 19" flatscreens?

The first Da Capo series is setted to the present day, the born of the sakura tree is setted in the year 1952 by the grandmother of Sakura, the second series is setted, in 2052 the third in 2072 but somewhat this village is anchored to the past, then i am not surprised that the technology is not that advanced
For the most part this is a somewhat average ecchi-harem whose main distinction is its novel implementation of twintails. On the plus side, the ninth episode is hilarious and episodes 10-11 actually feel like Da Capo.
With any luck the follow-up will be more like D.C.II S.S., as this entry certainly failed in that respect.
That was exactly how i felt when watching this - too much was spend of fan-service and single episodes which have to do nothing with the story (only to make you like certain character more ?). Personally i liked the anime starting with episode 9 (because i liked really much Mikoto - even more than the main cast). But the good parts that make Da Capo great are there - just there is so much wasted potential, like the people making the anime did not know which girl they wanted to make the main one (or let's say on which route the anime will take).
