Nico Touches the Walls was a Japanese rock band formed in 2004. In the same year, they won the Lotte Prize at the Yamaha Teen Music Festival. Rising quickly, they signed to Senya & Co. before signing to Sony Music Japan's Ki/oon Records in 2007; the same label that signed the popular bands Asian Kung-Fu Generation, L'Arc-en-Ciel and many more. Their major debut single, Yoru no Hate (夜の果て), was released in February 2008. Their song Broken Youth was featured as the 6th ending theme song for Naruto Shippuuden, and their song Hologram was the 2nd opening theme song for Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. According to Mitsumura Tatsuya, the band's unique name related "walls" with obstacles in life and the band's ambition to overcome them, continuing to their own world. On 15 November 2019, the group announced dissolution on the official site.
