This show is utterly generic, yet the premise-- and its boldness-- make it compelling nonetheless. For big fans of ecchi, particularly breast and BDSM fetishists, this show has a ton to offer in addition to an interesting (though generic) plot. I dislike this show greatly because of gender portrayal issues, but most ecchi fans in general have already come to terms with the various ways in which females can/are exploited in anime, so it won't be offensive to everyone. And for those who can somehow see beyond the non-stop-nipple-fest, this show offers a lot of fun, variously creative ways to progress the story. The writing is actually pretty good, though not excellent. At the same time, though, this show could have benefited quite a bit by having a bit of a heavier story or a little less ecchi obsession... but then it probably would have lost that magical balance that made it as good as it is. Must see for hardcore ecchi fans. Not for anyone else.

This show had all the ingrédients to become a really interesting anime, but they did crap from it.
They had a good background and chara design, the plot seemed interesting at the beginning... but it just turned to be stupid quite porn stuff....

With most of the focus for this anime on boobs, the plot and character development are weak. If you're into ecchi & borderline hentia, this would be the reason to watch this series.

In the opinion of many (including myself) it's THE ecchi show of all times. Self imposed censorship, stricter laws and a saturation of the borderline hentai category probably ensure that this show will NOT be topped for a long time to come, if ever.

FUnny ecchi series. More aimed to Ecchi fans(not anyone else who is offended by NUDITY/ecchi). If you can get past the excessive nudity, very funny series, there are some funny ass scenes if you pay attention. Story is so so, not too bad, enjoyable actually.

Well... this is kinda hard to recommend to anyone else than fans to the genre, so... if you're into ecchi or borderline hentai then this is definetly for you.
Don't expect anything great though. The show is a good for what it is. Nothing more or less.

Seikon no Qwaser is an ok-watch to pass some time. It's more borderline hentai than anything else, so don't expect too much depth from it.
