Three Tuscaloosa County Schools have announced closures for Friday, Jan. 14, according to a release from the school system on Thursday night. The temporary closure is due to a high number of faculty absences plus a lack of available substitutes.

Cottondale Elementary, Flatwoods Elementary and Holt Elementary are the three schools affected by the closure. The announcement stated no other schools will are impacted at this time and students should report to school as normal at the other city schools.
