It's like any field in gemc. You probably need to learn how to use GEMC first. see example of clas12 gcard at https://gemc.jlab.org/gemc/html/documentation/runningJLab.html

gemc can do dipole and quadrupole field with analytic calculation
You just need make a field dat file, see examples at

https://github.com/gemc/detectors/blob/master/eic/field/det1_ele_downstream_quadrupole1_simple.dat

Can you help me add a quadrupole field to B1 of G4

talking through github is not effective for this. I suggest you ask someone nearby to understand how to use gemc first.
